About Us

Unisphere Canada (UC) is a not-for-profit organization. Our primary goal is to facilitate economic opportunities and promote income generation through entrepreneurship and innovation. Our efforts are focused on vulnerable groups of Ontario residents who are disproportionately excluded from the mainstream economy.

We are a volunteer-based organization with members from diverse backgrounds, including: business leaders, marketing professionals, local and international development experts, and community economic development leaders. Our goals may be lofty, but we believe they are attainable: poverty reduction, capacity building and more.

We also believe nobody knows what type of business or service will succeed in a local community better than those who live, work and raise their families’ there.

Unisphere Canada is passionate about building welcoming and resilient communities that address the issues of poverty and economic inequality at a grassroots level. We support low-income people to become economically empowered through the establishment of new community owned and operated businesses – businesses whose benefits will be far reaching beyond the individual and into their community.
